At NanoTemper Technologies, we have a big mission — to enable researchers to do the best science of their lives. Since 2008, we’ve been developing, producing and selling cutting-edge instruments for drug discovery. With headquarters in Munich, 10 subsidiaries and 150 employees all around the world, we are known for our local and personalized customer-centric approach. We are looking for somebody who has made their first steps in becoming proficient at programming, and has a strong personal interest for understanding how technology works under the hood.

  • Become part of a small Team of experienced Embedded Systems Engineers which are  developing digital and physical components that constitute the building blocks for innovative Measurement Devices
  • Carry out small-scale independent projects with support of the team
  • Be a part of the ongoing development projects as a contributor and team member

  • Hands-on-Mentality – you’re good at figuring things out yourself and get your hands dirty while doing so
  • Willingness and ability to dive into new technologies and challenges without an obvious solution
  • Shared understanding of the value and importance of the quality of work (planning, documentation, refactoring, reviewing, testing)
  • First experiences with software development (git, clean code practices, testing, agile, ...)
  • Some experience in working with Embedded Computing Platforms (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, BeagleBone, Linux, FreeRTOS ...)
  • Programming skills in languages at different abstraction levels (C, C#, Python, Java Script, Rust, VHDL, ...)
  • Basic understanding for the underlying principles of the components of an Embedded System (Communication interfaces, CPU architecture, memory management, ...)
  • Ability to understand schematic layouts of circuit boards

What we offer
